Bay Area Wedding Coordinator Receives Industry Award
Gwen Helbush, CWC of Where to Start, Wedding Management, and Karl Heitz, CSEP, DMCP of the AXS Group, were awarded an International Special Event Society (ISES) Esprit Award for their collaboration on the “Oak Trees and Grapevine” wedding held during the 2013 calendar year. The ISES Esprit Awards are prestigious special event industry honors that feature competition within designated categories. Their win was in the category of “Best Wedding between $75,000 and $150,000.”
Helbush, a wedding management professional for over 20 years, and Heitz, the groom as well as an Operations Director specializing in corporate events, combined their talents to execute the award-winning November wedding held in Hopland, CA. “Even a corporate event planner needs a wedding planner on the big day,” said Helbush. Heitz, his bride and their guests were delighted with the overall experience of the wedding and reception. View photos from this event.
