At the start of their wedding planning journey, Sarah and Ryan chose the romance and sophistication of a pink and burgundy color palette juxtaposed with the laidback feel of rustic details to create a downhome feel with just enough elegance to make it fit for a wedding.
However, like many of my clients, the color palette and the details are only the start of what makes a wedding meaningful for the couple and their guests.
Sarah and Ryan wanted their guests to feel comfortable and surrounded by the love and joy of the day. We chose to hang love-inspired quotes on the sides of the tent. This created a visual barrier in lieu of tent walls, which kept the space open and airy, saved money on tent wall rentals and made it safe for older guests who could stumble off the sides without the clear barrier.
We also created a wall of family marriage photos as a focal point in front of the sweetheart table. The idea was to surround Sarah and Ryan with a legacy of strong marriages and celebrate the joining of two families.
